Gecko perfume is the appearance of chypre style fragrances goes back to the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Traditionally the base of chypres is oak moss, complemented with fresh bergamot. This is the smell of a forest thicket in a hot summer day after a rain. However, in a modern perfumery world, the family of chypre fragrances has received a new life.

The oak moss is successfully replaced by woody, amber or leather notes. And now chypre perfume can easily become a fragrance with oriental charm. Gecko is a magical combination of leather, lace of bitter herbs, spices and incense. This is a smoldering fire that touched the grass and mixed with the smell of blooming everlasting flower.

It is the first warm sun rays and changing of the seasons. A sweet tangerine is playfully intertwined with spicy saffron and caraway, completing the transformation of fragrance from warm and smoky-sweet to cool and spicy. The composition ends with a stunning bouquet of smoky amber and soft leather, framed by osmanthus and nut, enhancing the power of earthy notes in fragrance.

This aristocratic and mysterious perfume was created with the contrast of warm and cold elements, which are reflecting the richness and depth of oriental perfumery.
